Well, Artie's new movie "Beer League" didn't do as well as everyone had hoped. According to ComingSoon.net the movie only grossed $320,000 this weekend from the 164 theaters it was showing in. For those who heard the Howard Stern Show last week, we knew that the movie had to make $1 million to go to a wide release.
I was lucky enough to have been at the premiere on Wednesday night and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie actually was. I had high hopes for the movie but it looks like the rest of the country may have to wait for it to come out on DVD before they see it. Too bad, it's a great movie.
